Our natural leather is acquired from Wicket & Craig (Curwensville, Pennsylvania), a world premier vegetable tannery founded in 1867.  Veg-tan is one of the oldest and most eco-friendly forms of leather tanning, accomplished by using vegetable matter to treat the hides.  It lends the leather a temporary firmness that softens beautifully over time.  These dugouts are left undyed, allowing them to age into a completely one-of-a-kind shade unique to you.

The Origami is a simple, yet attractive dugout with an efficient design handcrafted from a single piece of leather that aggregates to a single point.  It’s uniquely constructed from a single piece of premium leather folded and wrapped into its elegant shape with minimal hardware.  

Unlike standard dugouts, The SilverStick Dugout is truly an all-in-one carrying case. With the Leather Dugout, you can keep your lighter, pipe, herb, poker, and filters in one discrete, compact place the size of a wallet. We’ve even etched icons (tattoos) of the contents into the leather, so you know exactly where they fit best.
